Cod fishing has been pretty good this year in the Thames with catches unto 60 fish a trip mostly fish between 2-6 lb with a few over 10 and the best of 22lb, skate have started to show and wont be long before Smoothounds are upon us, still getting plenty of phone calls from cancelled trips from the south coast been a windy winter for the chaps down there, lucky we can get some shelter and haven't missed many trips, summers coming............
