    Report on-board Bad Boyz VI

That's a wrap on our second week afloat on the River Mersey, fishing has certainly slowed as the rays ease off and we await the arrival od larger numbers of Cod.

Our best day this week settled on 12 Cod to 8lb, 30 rays to 11lb, whiting to 2lb and the usually dogs, dabs.

Saturday we hosted George and his crew's from Liverpool who have fished with us for many year's from Holyhead, We had a great day afloat under a winters sun. They boated 13 Cod to 8lb, 25 Rays, Plaice to 2 1/2lb, Dabs, Conger, Whiting, Pouting and Flounder. Already looming forward to there next outing on January.

As with all fishing, everyday was different, some fairly slow days in general with hectic short burst of fish, Fingers crossed next weeks tides should roll a few more Cod Into the River.

Best fish of the week was a tough one, the plump 2 1/2lb Plaice was up there however it was only to be outdone by our first double figure Mersey Cod at 10lb 1oz with Mike T coming a close second with a Cod of 9lb 10oz.

Most this year is now full, I still have dates available for January and February if you'd like to get afloat.

    Tight lines, Aaron
