A busy weekend aboard Duke lV with Smoothounds to 9lb, some good Bass and plenty of Mackerel. Justin brought his kids down Sunday, they had a great time battling it out with the Hounds on the toothpick rod we use for the youngsters. We have some spaces available from mid August when we hope the larger Bass will be around. Tight lines ��

The Mackerel are here with good numbers and plenty of keeper size fish. Following the Mackerel are some good size Bass like Veidas 6.5lb fish caught close to Ramsgate harbour. Smoothounds and Skate are still around with Finn landing a 10lb female Ray that he released. Dates still available for groups or individuals on Duke IV.

Ramsgate is now fishing at its best with plenty of species available with large Smoothounds, Bass and Thornback Ray along with Mackerel, Strap Congers, Whiting and Dabs.
We have spaces available this Weekend for groups or individuals. Sarah caught plenty Sunday including this Bass -

A good weekends fishing aboard Duke lV with Smoothounds around to double figures being landed along with Thornback Ray and Bass. As the water warms we can expect Mackerel and shoaling Bass. Fishing spaces available this Saturday 21st May. Call me on 07715 050851 to book.

The sun is shining with light winds forecast and the fish are turning up. Ray landed this Skate along with 3 others recently so with Skate, early Smoothounds and Bass there's lots to aim at. We have top quality bait available with live shrimp, always a favourite for the Hounds.

Duke IV is relaunched Monday ready for fishing trips for groups or individuals from 9th March. Contact me to book your place and let's hope for some spectacular fishing like last spring. Expect Skate and Smoothounds early with a chance of Bass and maybe a Cod if you're really lucky. Pic from early spring 21

The Bass are shoaling as they head South, giving us a chance of great fishing with todays anglers all catching their limits of keeper Bass. Along with the Bass a few Smoothounds and increasing numbers of Whiting. Skate are turning up now so plenty of species off Ramsgate at the moment.

The fishing has stepped up a gear off Ramsgate with plenty of Bass showing along with the Smoothounds. Skate are keeping a low profile as late and Mackerel are very scarce.

Great half term week with the youngsters catching some fantastic fish. The grown ups have been doing OK too with Donna on holiday from Norfolk landing the best Hound and Skate with plenty of Hounds, Skate and Bass for all parties. Yesterday's trip with kids onboard was plagued with rain but it didn't stop them with a constant stream of Doggies and Hounds coming aboard. Well done everyone for putting in the effort to make sure we catch plenty. Top angling. ����
