With a couple of settled evenings we finally managed to get out after some Sole. These trips are extremely popular with anglers in with a realistic chance of taking home a superb eating fish. So far the biggest Sole was caught last night by Mike York, a great fish at 2.5lbs!

October brings with it the arrival of BIG COD. With dreams of the rare but quite possible 30lb fish we really start to target these lunkers. Yesterday Sunday 11th Oct was my first proper Cod trip, in a difficult force 5 Westerly the guys still managed 3 fish with the biggest at 19lb!!! Well done to angler Raul Tanasan form London. We use Big Baits and Big Hooks so come prepared!!

Hi all
For a long time I have been waiting for early June to arrive as I love BIG Tope and thats what this time of year is all about. A recent trip around the Isle of Wight produced a bumper session with BIG tope attacking all of the rods at the same time! Here's a pic of the first two fish of the session weighing 50lb and 45lb. Great fishing, it must be as close to big game fishing as we come as these fish take their searing runs tearing line from the reel! Great Stuff! If you fancy some of this action then look for a smallish tide and ring me for details.
On these trips we can also go for Pollack, Conger and Bass, does it get any better????
