A long awaited trip out with all the lads on a boat we have heard nothing but praise about & after a few last minuite dramas we finally arrived on mass at Brighton on friday morning.
We were welcomed straight away be Terry, who introduced us all to Jay, & after the obligitory safety speech off we went.
Most of us had never been sea/wreck fishing before & this was explain to our hosts, to say they were attentive is an understatement, they both were as keen to impart there knowledge as we were to catch fish & we were not disapointed, although the weather was a littl choppy at the start this soon settled to a fantastic day out, i had for the first time both my sons with me, &, at one point all 3 of us were hooked up at the same time , it just doesnt get any better than that, the day ended with a good haul of cod, pollock, whiting, & pouting.
Terry & Jay are fantastic hosts both patient, informative & humours the kept a weathered eye on every member doing there utmost to ensure every one caught even to the degree that if one of us tangled they were straight onto us getting us sorted & back fishing.
I cannot praise Terry, Jay, & seebreez3 enought one of our best trips out, i hadnt even got home before some of the lads that had not been before were on the phone asking for another trip to see Terry,be assured i will be calling him real soon.

    Daiwa 2013 Brighton Pollock Competition

Brighton Pollock competition was won by Connor Bonwick with a superb Pollock of 17lb 9oz.Caught on Board Seabreeze3,And the junior prize was won by Michael Parker with a Pollock of 10lb 9oz

The 17lb 9oz Pollock was caught on a small wreck twenty four miles off Brighton on Seabreeze3.
Connor was fishing alongside his Dad, Darren. When Connor first hooked into this superb fish he thought it was the wreck, and then when he realized it wasn’t the wreck, the battle began. After five minutes of playing the fish it finally broke the surface. We all knew on board that this was going to be a big fish but didn’t realize it was going to be an 18lb fish.
When the fish was first weighed on board, it weighed in at just over18lb but by the time it got weighed in at the harbor it had lost a little weight.
Connor was absolutely thrilled to receive £22 from the anglers on board who all put in £2 each for the heaviest fish. He then received £300 to spend on Daiwa fishing tackle and also a free day’s fishing trip on Seabreeze3. Needless to say Connor was a very happy young man!
I would like to say a big thank you to all the other guys that took part in the competition and also thank you to Paul Dyer on Brighton Diver for organizing the competition who raised over £1000 for the RNLI. Well done.

    March 2013

    Hi Everyone,
Thought I’d write a message after a lovely Mother’s day meal!
March has been an excellent month on Seabreeze3 so far with some fantastic Pollock being caught. Dave Robson’s son, Nathan landed the most impressive fish of the month so far a 22lb 8oz Pollock and one of 17lb 8oz! Excellent fish for a first timer, his Dad asked me to teach Nathan how to fish which I did, so either Nathan is a fast learner or it was beginners luck! I like to think it was my expert tuition! Closely followed this month by Oz with a 16lb 8oz Pollock and Steve Knocks with a 15lb 8oz Pollock. Followed by Adrian the ‘Crane’ man who caught a 15lb Pollock.
These are a selection of the larger fish that are being caught, have a look at my photo gallery for more pictures.
If anyone would like a day out onboard Seabreeze3 then please give me a call.

Me and my father have been fishing numerous times with Terry onboard the Seabreeze 3, and to this day, we have continued to see a great service with excellent guidance and friendly crew! We start the day and head straight out to our fishing location where we are instantly set up and directed by Terry or his deckhand. The trips are lengthy and provide for plenty of time, and Terry's skill and experience allows for the best locations, ensuring that you will not be disappointed with the results! Every trip we have gone on has left us eager to return, and with numerous amounts of fish! Well done to the crew, and this is a great, well maintained boat that I certainly recommend to anybody who is after an action-packed day of fishing, beginner or not! We will certainly be going again soon! Very friendly service and a spectacular day all round!

By Steve Burgoyne Hayward Tyler Sea Anglers

Our trip was originally booked for Sunday 24th Feb, however Skipper Terry lee advised us to delay to this Saturday, 2nd March due to the weather. Luckily he had a free slot on this date. This proved a wise decision, and Saturday saw us out on a wreck 20+ miles off Brighton.
The electronics showed the wreck to be well packed with Pollack, but despite picking up 3 fish on the first drift, bites remained patchy throughout the morning. Nevertheless, we were catching fish and a good time was had by all.
After lunch-time we moved in a little to try another wreck which again showed a good head of fish. However once again bites were patchy, and the numbers boated did not do justice to the tremendous efforts put in by Terry & his crewman Jay.
I must state here that Terry & his lovely boat, Sea Breeze III are very impressive operation. I have fished on a lot of different boats over the years, right back to the 1970's, and if I had to pick one out, I would say Sea Breeze gets my vote. It's immaculate, extremely well equipped, and very professionally operated. Terry is a very easy guy to get on with and a very fair & honest businessman. His crewman Jay is also a true professional & works very hard all day. As well as sorting out the inevitable tangles, Jay manages any hire tackle, lands all the fish very expertly and will even fillet & wash your catch to table readiness! A great boat, we shall certainly go again. Well done Terry & Jay and very many thanks.

    Fishing report – Friday 8th February 2013

A group of hopeful anglers arrived at Brighton Marina at just gone 7am having had ample time to stop off at the ’golden arches’ for some breakfast, all keen for a day aboard Sea Breeze 3.
It was borderline as to whether we would get out wrecking for Pollack with winds gusting to 15 knots predicted from the offshore forecasts. Whilst I would like to think that I persuaded skipper Terry Lee to take a chance, deep down I knew that as always he would make the right decision having changed the type of fishing on a previous trip. That time, wrecking for cod became a day’s breaming at anchor where we experienced a fantastic day of non-stop action with up to 80 Bream of a good size coming over the side during the day.
But, back to the day in question, as we steamed some 18 miles offshore, talk turned to tackle as permanent deckhand Jay started preparing the rods. French booms with 10 ounce weights and 7 inch Sidewinders seemed to be the order of the day with a mixture of red, orange and rhubarb & custard lures on show.
A few of us had bought our own rods and tackle and similarly rigged up. As I looked across I saw good pal Phil’s rod and gazed up towards the tip. I looked up and up and up and eventually realised he’d brought his 12ft beachcaster by accident!!! This was an opportunity we all couldn’t miss and a chorus of ‘there’s only one Phil Nutkins’ echoed across the deck but little did we know it was the rest of us who would be left with egg on our faces as on the first drift Phil hooked into a 14lb 2oz Pollack which would prove to be the largest catch of the day.
Subsequent drifts found a double hook up and I landed a 13lb Pollack and first timer Sam Pope pulled in a 12lb 2oz Pollack. As the tide picked up, Skipper Terry expertly moved from wreck to wreck to keep us on the fish and more Pollack followed together with a few pout. As with all good trips, the time seemed to fly and before long it was time to aim towards the shore. As we sat back in the cabin and exchanged tales of the ones that got away, deckhand Jay expertly filleted the few fish we had kept for the table.
Another great day out with Terry and Jay aboard Sea Breeze 3 and talk is now moving towards the next trip – bream fishing followed by some livebaiting for bass. I can’t wait.

1 Dec 2012 by Terry Lee

What a start to the 1st December!

With the Cod showing in plentiful numbers and the boats from Brighton Marina reporting some good catches of cod.Whiting etc

Mick Pullens crew whilst fishing on Seabreeze3 on the 1st December caught some lovely cod with Warren Wood landing two of his personal best one of 23lb 8oz,and 22lb 8oz and Jane Pullen landed an 8lb cod along with a large amount of the dreaded whiting.

On the Sunday 2nd December, Andy crew from London also caught some excellent cod, with Haydn Watkins landing his personal best of 25lb cod, caught on a bait of cuttlefish and squid on a panel rig. Soon followed by Steve Burgoyne landing a cod of 15lb on squid and cuttlefish also. Next it was Andy Wiles turn with a fine cod of 19lb. After a short break Andy then caught another one, not so big this time but a respectable size. Then it was Geordie Staines turn with a good size cod of 16lb.

All I can say guys is sit there with a big bait of cuttlefish and squid and don't get impatient, that's all you need to do to catch them
