Additional Description:

After the success of Gypsy over the last four years I decided to go for a larger boat to accommodate my ever increasing customer numbers, Berry boats are very heavy and stable, not fast but they make great boats for inshore fishing, on a full day trip we will often cover 30 miles, and around Weymouth and Portland that can put you on some fantastic fishing marks, on a 4 hour beginners trip we will stay closer to home but there is still a good chance of some very large fish.

About the Skipper:

I have owed and fished from my own boats in Weymouth for over 25 years, and have been a active member of the Weymouth Angling Society for just as many years, after I passed my skipper exams I brought Gypsy to take out club members on weekends but it wasn't long before my trips became very popular, with customers coming back to fish with me year after year, so this is why I have brought Gypsy 2, at 35 feet long she has a deck length of 21 feet, and will be able to take upto 12 anglers.

I recently had my 4th season with Trad on a block booking with our angling club and we weren't disappointed. Trads knowledge, dedication and effort is second to none. He works very hard to ensure you enjoy a memorable trip. Thanks very much from all of us. Best wishes and see you next season.

Skippers Reponse: Thanks Rob, always a good trip with your lot on the boat

"I have enjoyed many a day afloat with Trad aboard Gypsy 2, and have caught some cracking fish along the way; Personally for me it's not all about the fishing, but it's the day out among some lads and lasses having a laugh and catching that bonus fish or two."
"Trad certainly sets out to give you the best day possible on all the top marks throughout the bay of Weymouth and Portland tackling the variety of species that habitat the area at the given time."
So if you want a good day out with a good skipper who can make a decent coffee with a tidy little boat" you won't go wrong here !... Top marks for a top skipper..

Trad Is a very knowledgeable and experienced Skipper who never fails to put his customers on decent fish, be that beginners or the more experienced angler you won’t regret booking with Trad on Gypsy 2.
He’s great with kids as I regularly take my 9 year old out on fishing trips and he’s always on hand with advice and the odd hot chocolate to ensure she has a great day afloat.

I have fished with Trad now for a few years, I think he’s a good skipper & a top bloke! He will always put you on the fish no matter wot, he also can supply all the gear if you’ve not got your own! I took my daughter out for a half day beginners session she loved it that much & was well looked after by Trad she wants to go again, also supplies tea, coffee & the occasional hot dog! Can’t wait for my next trip
