An excellent day had by all. Everyone had loads of different fish. Dog fish, mackerel, thornback Ray upto 13lbs and a bullhuss about 13 lbs and many more.
Ste and Paul were very helpful and a pleasure to be with.
Best trip yet.
Will book again.

A really great day out for a family group with a mix of life long fishermen and novice beginners. Steve and Chris were very knowledgeable of the river and the species we would be targeting(Whiting and Dab). They both took great care of us all and had plenty of patients especially for the 2 youngsters on board. Everybody in our group caught fish and enjoyed the day. We will definitely go out again in the summer.

Another cracking day on board Girl Gray. Steve as usual was fantastic and helped by Lee who also couldn't do enough to help you. Loads of species caught and also got my first Thornback for 30 years which was enough to win our in house comp for biggest fish. Once again thank you for the day and will see you soon. John

Cracking day with Ste, a group of us from the local boxing club and friends had a day out on the Girl Gray, this was the first time with the skipper and boat and lkets just say it wont be the last. Lots caught and a great variety. Will definitely be back in July..

Well organised and enjoyable day afloat the Girl Gray, I contacted the skipper online to book a trip for a bunch of novices to go out sea fishing for the day, Ste the skipper got in touch with me and advised me to hold back a couple of weeks to allow the fishing to improve and also allowed us to have use of the whole boat which caters for 12 for our party of 8 at a good price. Communication throughout was very professional and we were advised on what we would require on the day, all bait and tackle supplied on the day so we just turned up had a safety briefing before we set out and Ste advised what fish we would be targeting, arrived at our mark and again Ste went over what the newbies needed to do regarding using the tackle, anyway so not to witter on everybody caught throughout the day and had a great experience onboard the Girl Gray. Species caught on the day:Red Gurnard, whiting, dog fish, a small starry smooth hound, flatties galore and a plaice so everybody really enjoyed it. Nothing was to much to ask and the sausage butties in the morning and chicken in the afternoon were well received, the guys who attended (mates from work) are now looking forward to arranging our next trip. Many thanks and look forward to seeing you again in the near future

On a day that other the charter i booked cancelled due to high winds, Steve disagreed and took us 20miles out. The weather was perfect, sea was calm and the fish were biting at every mark. The boat is well equiped for all standards with plenty of space, good food and proper builders tea. will give you a ring when we come again. Thanks John, Paul, Sam & Ian

Absolutely fantastic day aboard the Girl Grey, everything you could want from a charter and more! None stop action all day 50 smoothhound, whiting, dabs and a pup tope what more can you ask for?
