not sea fished for over Thirty years rich showed me the way ,Top guy enthusiastic nothing was too much trouble you could see he wanted everyone to catch and enjoy there day out. Wow what a day of memories i got great fun great bunch of people on boat but what a skipper who works hard to deliver fish, Top skipper maybe the pied piper of the sea off whitby thanks rich see you next time im on holiday fantastic skipper priceless memorys matey!!! luv ur lol .

My Son and I had two trips booked on MISTRESS with Rich and this was the first time with him, both trips were SUPERB!! He is a good laugh and very supportive, if anyone needed help he was there. When the fish drIed up on one mark he would move on to another mark to make your day enjoyable. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending a trip out with him and look forward to booking another trip with him. Thanks Rich

Great day out even though weather was not very kind .Rich worked really hard with all of us novices and we all caught fish even one up to 18.5 lbs we all had a great day thanks again Rich you will see us all again.Thanks again Paul ,Andy and the lads.

excellent evening's fishing . nearly all beginners started off with mackeral then moved on to catching some "biguns" two fantastic pollack and a couple of cod caught. perfect family experience for first time fishing Rich was there for every tangle that needed sorting and words of encouragement. Can't wait to do it again.

went out with Rich on 23 July. we were a bunch of beginners so probably a skippers nightmare.Rich worked so hard to sort us all out and we had agood day fishing with everybody catching cod and ling. Will go back and fish with Rich again as he made it so enjoyable .Thanks again Rich for a great day

what a great day i had with rich he certainly knew where the fish were i caught 7 cod and 1 pollock my best ver haul it cost me a lot in weights and other things but all that is a learning experience i would never have caught them without richs help i will be back next year for another couple of days

Great day out on the Mistress with Skipper Rich Cope. Rich first stopped for us to get some Mackerel on board before heading out to the wreaks. I had 7 good sized ling on board and many other Anglers the same. The weather, seas and company were great and Mistress got 3rd in the comp with one gents 15lb Ling. Also on board were cod and Pollock up to 10lb and of course the one that got away doubled my rod with 2 big lunges then went back for another day one I am sure I will be reminded of this often. Rich knows where fish are and how to get them, thanks for another great days fishing Rich, Highly recommended

Got out on friday only me ken and rich the skipper on boat, weather was perfect flat calm, fished the inshore wrecks and had a really good day took 12 good fish home, cod to 7lb and a 9lb ling a good crack all day looking forward to next trip , check out pics on facebook ,thanks rich for another good day.

I had my first wrecking trip of the year on Mistress last Wednesday, the weather and tide was perfect Rich as always worked his socks off to put us amongst the fish. At times the fishing was slow but all the anglers on board had a reasonable catch of cod and ling, at times we were pestered by a scabby seal that took great delight in snatching the cod off our hooks, the water was not as clear as it should be so it made shad fishing difficult, so most of the fish fell to bait. Rich covered a lot of miles to get us amongst the fish. I give him 10 out of 10 for his effort. I am looking forward to my next trip in the spring festival.

Weather conditions weren't great but Rich put us on the fish, 14 keepers the best was around 6lb mark. Been out with Rich before and will definitely be going out again. 3 of us went in total and we all had a fantastic day! Whether your experienced or a novice, Rich will help you out as best he can.
