TRUE BLUE CHARTERS provide specialist fishing excursions for up to 12 anglers primarily aboard our own custom built angling catamaran, but occasionally drawing on the services of other top skippers and high profile boats from along the South Coast.
We can tailor trips to suit our clients requirements ranging from general fishing trips to more specialist excursions to target named species such as shark, bass, cod, or mid channel wreck fishing to target large conger eels and ling. As well as fishing trips, our boat TRUE BLUE can also be used for bird and wildlife watching along the Jurassic Coast, lazy days afloat to visit local beaches or neighboring ports, or as a stable platform for photography or watching sporting events such as powerboat and yacht racing. Full corporate days combining any of the above activities and including a choice of food can be tailored to suit customer’s requirements.
TRUE BLUE is an 11 meter factory built Southboats Catamaran, powered by twin Iveco 280HP engines, providing a fast, spacious and stable angling platform with plenty of room for up to 12 anglers. She was first launched in December 2006. TRUE BLUE has a top speed of over 24 knots and a comfortable fully laden cruising speed of 17 knots. The vessel complies fully with the Maritime and Coastguard Agencies “Code of Practice” for operation up to 60 miles day or night. As well as all the necessary safety equipment, TRUE BLUE is equipped with a comprehensive electronics and navigation package, a heated cabin, generator, toilet and galley. The galley includes a fridge, microwave, grill, water boiler and electric hob.
FISHING: Anglers can fish on True Blue either as individuals or as part of a charter. Full details of all fishing trips and venues can be found on our website or you can contact us by phone or email. If you are an individual that can fish at short notice then join our email list. We often have short notice fishing opportunities for individuals or small groups, either to take advantage of good weather windows or to make up numbers on existing charters. We notify everyone on our mailing list when such vacancies arise and send out regular news letters.
