Boat prices
up tiding £40 per day per angler 8 hours
Inshore fishing (within 12 miles from the harbour) £45 per day per angler 10 hours
Offshore fishing £50 per day per angler 10 hours
16 hour Ofshore trips available call for prices
Jon Wilford has over 20 years boat fishing experience under his belt and has owned a boat at Whitby for over 10 years now. Initially Jon used 2 dogs as a private vessel. In more recent times Jon has switched to charter fishing and has had some very successful sessions over the past few years.
First and foremost Jon is an angler and admits to having a passion for specimen hunting. “I love to catch Pollock, but we are versatile and will target most species when the opportunity arises” Says Jon. Obviously cod is the main target species of all the charter boats and we have had some excellent fish with both quality and quantity coming aboard Two Dogs in the past year. Kevin Wolstenholme. Another great day out with Jon in Two Dogs.First trip a few weeks ago got a bag full of ling,cod and mackeral on the wrecks. Second time out we went 26 miles out to the wall. We were going for cod and thats what we all got. Cod from 6lbs to 12lbs and I got my PB, a 20lb cod on a small shad. Great day out cheers Jon.

Well over a hundred cod caught with Johnny "TWO DOGS",even a couple of novices pulling them in,to give everyone a great days fishing,thanks John..........Jimmy

Went out second time on bank holiday Monday had a fantastic day AGAIN caught loads if mackerel Cod and ling caught a 14lb cod was lovely on barbeque last night thanks a Again john for a great day looking forward to the next trip in October with the boys

fm \ keith robinson girnhill lane sea fishing club.
went with skipper john wilford. Small stuff to begin with until tide changed then hit the big ling . the biggest caught by Kieren Holden weighing in at over 21 lbs.( see photo att ) All round was a brilliant day with plenty of fish caught .pleasure to fish with this skipper , very helpful all round.Re booked again in October that good .end . -

me and a friend was out on john's boat Two dogs, steamed for two and a half hours to the wall 26 miles off whitby, caught 30 cod up to 7lb, ling and mackeral.skipper did well to keeps us on fish on a big tide. Nice clean boat top skipper and would recomend him for a good days fishing skipper John on boat Two dogs. Thankyou for a great days fishing Pete from Rotherham.

Been with two dogs today very good conditions and john put us on the fish like he always does would recommend two dogs to anyone.we fished 8 wrecks and took cod to 8lb and tom mathers got the biggest with a 10lb ling.We also managed to take a few fat pollock too but the surprise of the day was bob deakins 3lb plaice took off a bit off ground between 2 bits of wreckage great day good crack as always with john top man top skipper.
