Profile: If you want to catch the biggest fish of your life, either a Giant Bluefin Tuna or a Blue Marlin then join us in La Gomera in the Canary Isles. Sunshine and flat sea's are the norm.
After many years fishing around the UK and after putting Shetland firmly on the map I decided to try and find fantastic fishing that was within easy travelling distance from the UK. Welcome to San Sebastian in La Gomera. For those of you that fished with me in the Shetlands, then try and get down here. This is like Jurasic park for fishing and this is a true fact.
This year a number of my friends that fished with me in Shetland came down here and have all booked for 2017. Here is a sample of the fish they caught:: Dave Wilson and his boy's numerous Big Eye tuna to 220 lbs. Andy MacDonald Big eye to 200 lbs, Yellowfin to 210 lbs, and get this, a Bluefin at 850 lbs.. Mike Sheridan Bluefin at 500 lbs, his biggest fish after 40 years of Big game fishing all over the world. Alan Walsh and Kev, Big Eye Tuna to 230 lbs .Jon Long Dorado to 35 lbs and helped me land a Marlin at 450 lbs..
March to May Blue fin and Big eye tuna and Yellowfin
May to September fishing in Shetland
November to January Wahoo and Dorado.
