10.5m Blythe Catamaran with a massive 5m Beam. Regarded as one of the most stable fishing platforms available and perfect for the short sea state that we experience on the South Coast with a cruise speed of 14.5Kn and a sprint speed of 21Kn. The Big Catamaran means not just improved Safety but also comfort and less chance of becoming sea-sick! We Specialise in taking groups and individuals on Inshore fishing trips, we have been doing that successfully with fantastic reviews from our returning guests for the last 9 years. BLUEFIN of BRIGHTON joins our other Blythe Catamaran "Proteus" aka Brigand Charters Operated by Brightons most qualified Skipper Steve Green so we will benefit from Steve's knowledge, experience and 100% Catch rate.

Karl has been operating fishing boats along the South Coast for the last 20 years so he knows these Seas very well. Growing up in West Sussex Karl has always been a keen Shore & Boat angler with an extensive knowledge of how to catch everything from Mackerel to the mighty Bluefin Tuna!
Karl is qualified to operate both Charter (3nm) and commercial fishing vessels (20nm) having passed all RYA, MCA & Seafish qualifications including VHF DSC radio operator, Ships Firefighting, First Aid, Powerboat Level 2 and H&S course in 2025. in addition to these mandatorily qualifications Karl has had the benefit of crewing on several large charter boats out of Brighton over the last 3 years, learning the REAL skills needed to safely operate a larger vessel and how, when and where to target the best fish inshore.
Karl is a hard working, knowledgable father of 4 so looking after Children comes perfectly naturally to him so whether you area individual, small group or family rest assured that you will be in very capable hands.
