Went out this weekend with Sam and the bass were nearly jumping on deck, quite a few schoolies but even more keepers. All of us took home a good size keeper from around 4lb up to 7lb and returned the rest for another day. Great weather, great company and a great skipper. I hope to be back soon.

Lots of double figure thornbacks around and some nice early spring Bass, along with dogfish and whiting. The occasional codling and decent size dab. Luckily I have some very productive marks in the lea of the land for those days when winds are high.

Still a lot of whiting snapping up the baits but with a bit patients there are still good Skate around. The occasional late Bass and a few fab.
