Boat Specification: Brighton Diver the Beast is a 40ft Catapult catamaran with 1300BHP which is 12m long and 5m wide for extra stability and maximum fishing space, built to D.O.T specification and conforming to Marine Safety Agency requirements to carry 12 passengers Powered by 2 x 250 hp Perkins saber turbo charged diesels fitted in 2004, giving a cruising speed of 17 knots with a top speed of 22 knots. Electronic aids aboard include 2 echo sounders, differential GPS, plotter, two VHF radios, radar and autopilot. A comprehensive First Aid Kit and an Oxygen Therapy Unit is always ready for emergency use. Whilst on the boat, 3rd party insurance to £2m is covered. The boat has a enormous deck which will fish 12 anglers with plenty of space seating is provide for passengers. A galley is equipped with a fridge, microwave cooker for pies, etc, and gas for hot drinks. 240volts ac is available for battery charging or pc's. A toilet is provided inside the cabin.

Paul Dyer, BSAC Advanced Diver, TDI Tri Mix. Paul has 30 years diving experience and 18 years chartering from Brighton, he is also RYA - MCA Qualified Also a keen fisherman, with an excellent knowledge of local wrecks and marks.

    I've tried deep water fishing in all kind of places around the world (USA, Vietnam, Thailand, Norway and Israel), and I can say without a doubt, that my fishing trip with brighton-diver was my best fishing day ever. The objective conditions as the sun, sea and wind was just perfect, but it was much more than that. I really appreciated Paul's enthusiasm about finding the perfect spot, and taking the effort, each few minutes, to return to this point after the boat moved a little bit. His instructions and involvement was according to the level of each one of us, and gave the feeling that no one is going back home without a big fish in his bag! which appeared to be the right impression as all of us caught at least one big fish. I have just one problem now, how can I go back to trouts fishing and get excited from catching a 10 inch fish?
