Delta Sunrise is operated by Delta Charters, with a full time profesional skipper, and operates throughout the year, Delta Charters welcome all on board for a pleasent days fishing, and we cater for both the serious and novice angler alike, Ladies and youngsters welcome.

Stag and Hen parties or just a toodle upto the piers.
The vessel is fully Licenced under the Code of Practice, with full Insurance and public Indemnity Insurance as required.
Delta Sunrise also carries a full Workboat Licence.

Alan started boat fishing and has been at sea in his own boats for 52 years, and is a Qualified MCA/DOT BoatsMaster, a qualification he has held for over 42 years. He also holds a Full Sea Survival certificate,
First Aid Certificate., and a VHF Maritime Radio Certificate.-
Alan is the last remaining original Brighton Marina Charter Skipper, and also the longest serving Charter boat Skipper in Brighton Marina, he has been working professionally from the marina for over 40 years, - no other skipper has this wealth of local knowledge, built up over 5 decades .
Alan welcomes individuals, small parties,and full boat charters, and has a wealth of experience, he is a very patient skipper, who will offer friendly help and advice if needed.

Fantastic ! I booked with Alan for a special occasion to be carried out, and though the weather this time of the year was playing havoc, we managed to do this yesterday 11/10/20 as the sea gods were on our side. Alan kept me updated as to what the weather was doing. He is such a lovely lovely gentleman, total respect for this skipper, he knew exactly how to conduct this ceremony and make sure all went to plan. With 6 regulars and 2 newbies on board we started out on a full day trip to near the windfarm. we stopped on route to catch Mackerel for bait and later in the trip for the table. All caught fish and enjoyed a day of good company, always find that those more experienced will help and advise the newer or those looking for advise on rigs and bait. This was an exceptional trip, apart from Mackerel and Horse Mackerel we enjoyed excellent Ray fishing with Undulates touching 15lb, some low double figure Thornbacks. We lost count at 16 boarded and supplemented this with a good number of Tope, Smoothhounds and of course Dogfish. A great day.

Another great day out with Alan. Conditions were not the best, but he still managed to put us on the fish and I even managed a PB Undulate. Will be back again soon Alan.

Great 8hr trip on the Delta Sunrise. Alan put us on the fish straight away. Lost count of how many fish I'd caught within half an hour. Can highly recommend this boat and it's very experienced skipper to anyone, novice or expert alike. Thanks Alan for a great day.

From when I first made contact by telephone, through our communication before and on the day Alan was always prompt, helpful, and courteous to a fault. Moreover, his many years of knowledge were always very clearly explained - which for me - as a beginner, made the trip even more interesting as well as great fun.
Not only that but Alan is a gentleman who has a sincere and infectious true love of the sea - of every fish & hundreds of fishing tips. He made everyone aboard feel welcome, so as as well as the Plaice we caught, that made the day one I want to repeat again as soon as possible.
FIVE (5) STARS! couldn’t recommend Delta Dawn and its skipper more highly.Skippers Reponse: Thanks Mark and it was very nice to meet you as well, no doubt see you soon

1st September and another day out with Alan on Delta Dawn. Ideal conditions and after catching enough mackerel for bait, we started the serious fishing. Alongside the ubiquitous dogfish, we caught smoothounds, tope and 3 species of Ray, Blonde, Thornbacks and Undulates. Angler of the day (again) was Mick who landed 2 glorious Undulates and 1 Thornback, the first of the Undulates was well above 20lb and the other 2 not far behind. To round off the day we took a few more Mackerel for the table, all other fish were safely returned. Thanks for a good day Alan. Richard M

After a successful trip for Plaice in March we were back out with Alan on Delta Dawn Brighton Marina Friday 21st April. As it was a small tide we headed out for deep water and were still able to use light tackle. Almost immediately there was action which lasted all day and all 6 anglers boated decent specimens which were all safely returned. Top of the pile were some beautiful Smoothhounds and Starry Smoothounds with a couple of double figure fish amongst the 20 or more that were boated. There were also 2 lovely Undulate Rays both double figure fish, a number of Thornbacks and plenty of Dogfish and Whiting during the quieter moments. A really enjoyable day, thanks Alan.
