Absolutely incredible experience for myself and my husband. It was my very first time fishing let alone on a boat, and it was amazing!! Both Dave and Al are an amazing team, they’re relaxed, very welcoming and very attentive and have some brilliant tips. The boat itself is immaculate, and up to date. It was like being with friends, awesome experience and I caught fish!! My very first time!! Brilliant brilliant brilliant! To say I have the bug now is an understatement! Thank you guys for an unbelievable experience, roll on the next one!!

Fishing Report by Dave Stenson
21 Jul 2019 by Dave Stenson
Another fantastic day with a returning group. The lads are a laugh a minute and it turned up a surprise fish today. Our first scheduled Shark trip isn't until Monday 29th of July when we have a dedicated Thresher trip on, so when Kiwi "Mark Burton" landed a small Thresher today the boat was buzzing. We really didn't have a slow or slack period as we netted plenty of double figure Rays. We also had good smoothounds, and plenty of Strap Congers, and Bream and once again Caroline kept the fresh bait coming with Mackerel. Makes us wonder now as when Mark landed his Thresher, we also had 2 complete bite offs when the line was not that unsubstantial. Sam never gave up at all and was the last to land his targeted species... A double figure Undulate, and he pulled it out of the bag by netting two. Dogfish were conspicuous by their absence and we had no more than a dozen all day between all anglers. Thanks to Jay Young for organising another fantastic day.

Fishing Report by Dave Stenson
30 Mar 2019 by Dave Stenson
With a perfect weather day we pushed off to a deep water Reef mark 34 miles offshore. Anchored in 230 ft water the lads arms were always going to get a workout, but with a small tide it had to be done.
A fantastic crew who kept at it all day. It did not produce the variety of fish we would normally hope for, but rod action was ensured as Bullhuss after Bullhuss came to the boat. Mixed with a few Eels and the obligatory dogs. Over slack tide we took the opportunity to have a move in search of Rays, and on the way to our next mark stopped off over a wreck to have a bounce of some feathers and small baits to add to the species list.
Dan Dan the rod breaking crewman, scored a Pollock on feathers which would have looked more suited if they had been adorned with Mackerel. :-)
Next spot was to look for the Rays, small undulate, and blonde were boated along with a constant stream of dogs which proved difficult to get through.
A thoroughly enjoyable day and a fantastic crew.
