Report on-board Mistress
This was our first day fishing the Summer festival, the lads were full of high expectations for the day. First thing in the morning we were greeted with a lumpy sea, but with a decreasing forecast we set off in search of the big one!.
Unfortunately due to the conditions a couple lads gave in to the dreaded sea flu, but carried on fishing regardless. By lunch time though the sea had fell right away and the sun had come out. we took a steady picking of cod and ling through the day the best one landed was by our crew man Joe who took 5 mins out to drop a line on a wreck, it was a lovely cod around 12 lb.
