    Report on-board Brighton Lure Boat

Today’s Brighton Sea Fishing adventure was with George ( Dad ) Jack eldest and Harry, Dad and Harry returning from last years adventure, which wasn’t the greatest, so I had a challenge and a plan but noticed Jack was rather quiet, I found out he has a fast Motorcycle and had a track day, he crashed at around 180 miles hour, hence he was feeling a bit down in the dumps, hopefully, some Brighton Sea Fishing on the Brighton Lure boat would change that.

Only to be met with a cross swell, which I’ve not seen for a while, thinking could make the drifts difficult. I find doing a couple of test drifts gives you a good measure of what to expect from wind, swell, and tide.

The 4th drift and our first fish of the day, Harry is into a Bass, around 2.5lb, the SPEED on the drift increased from .8 up to 1.5 in 25 minutes. Not deterred by this, we continued on and we Jack in next, also camera shy, but his wrasse of near 3lb gave him a good thump, and fight, this started 90 minutes of fish to the net on every drift.

Harry again into another bass, not a monster but good fun, Jack also hits into a bass, what of George, he got involved with Red Gunard, and a jumbo mackerel, as for the skipper, small bass and small pollock, Harry in the meantime continued with mackerel and Brighton Caught Pollock, Jack again into Mackerel and a lost bass.

    Changing Winds
Then an hour before high tide WE headed to another reef with a few takes plus more jumbo mackerel, as with previous days the Worthing Sea Breeze which affects Brighton Sea Fishing arrived around 12.30, that was our trip over with, perhaps the wind farm extension starting to gear up might change this phenom, we wait to see.

They took back to Hampshire Pollock and mackerel for tea, and feeling of well being of having great morning although Jack and Harry wanted there Fast Food Fix.

Great to see people returning and thoroughly enjoying their fishing trip, there back in September for another trip out, Georges turn for a silver., Lets hope he hits into big one.
