    Report on-board Shy-Torque III

    Nice to get back to sea year yesterday after a short break away.
    Our mixed group travelled from all corners to fish with us, with lads as far afield as Birmingham.
    The day started slow on a couple of offshore wrecks with just 5 fish being caught so we ran back to the ground on the 9 mile when a mate of mine was finding a few.
    We managed to pick away until slack water which saved the day. Mostly Codling around the 3 lb mark with an “odd” slightly better one here and there.
    Fabulous flat calm weather for the lads making the day a pleasure.
