    Report on-board Shy-Torque III

    A slowish day for yesterdays team on the boat.

    4 inshore wrecks to the North of the harbour produced only a half dozen fish or so.

    We dropped a small strip of ground next where we thought we had cracked it.
    First drift producing 6 fish which was good.
    The next 3 or 4 drifts only giving us another 10 Codling so we moved offshore a few miles to another piece of scrap.

    This wasn’t much better either if I’m honest. Just a half dozen fish from it.

    We ended the day on the rough ground marks we have had half decent results on over the last few visits, again sadly to no avail, with just an odd fish here and there.

    Brian Quarterman taking the heaviest of the day, a nice Ling of 9lb 6oz.
    Mark Wilkinson landing a nice double of Codling too.

    The shads and baited rigs doing the job as ever.

    Tally for the trip around 30 fish that’s all, but with this wonderful weather hanging on for us, the day was perfect again and the lads really enjoyed the trip.
