    Report on-board Deep Blue

    Thursday 10th April.
    A half day afternoon for some first time on a boat’ers.
    More breeze than I was expecting, which was backing the tide, leading to a drift speed of 2kts.
    The day wasn’t really meant to be a mackerel trip, but when you find them, you find them.
    Good size shoals marking the sounder on a few different marks. The lads seemed to be more than happy with their sack of BBQ bound bounty.
