    Report on-board Brigand

    Our first dedicated Turbot trip of the year today. Always a little nervy when we slate a dedicated species trip, particularly when it is the first of the year and even more so when the orevious year was very poor on the flats....... All concerns were put to bed on the first drift with Andre landing the first Turbot of the year ...........and they just kept on coming! Total count for the day was 22 Turbot & 6 Brill, a fantastic start to our Season and a very positive indicator of what's to come as the season builds to its peak in September.

    Red Gurnard
    Tub Gurnard
    Blonde Ray
    Mackerel
    Jumbo Mackerel
    Scad Launce
    Bream
    Bass Pouting ...... of course!

    A big shout out to the crew, great seeing Marcus catch his first 4 Turbot and of course Pete Stotesbury in the thick of it with 6 Turbot and a couple of Brill. Thank you all for a beautiful day Offhsore fishing out of Brighton ��
