Report on-board Skylark
Some of the fish caught on today's 8hr trip
Unfortunately we've been tied up most of this week plagued with strong winds and lumpy sea.
Today wasn't perfect with thick fog this morning which cleared then ran in from south for an hour then went. We also had quite a bit of swell still running.
This wasn't a deterrent for today's anglers who still found loads of plump mackerel, some good size pollock and cod.
Also caught was ballen wrasse, coalfish, whiting, pouting and a weaver. Totaling 9 different species for the day.
As well as the fishing we had loads of wildlife throughout the day with bottle nose dolphins passing by for the majority of the morning, loads of playful seals.
Throughout the trip we also had many species of sea birds buzzing about.View Boats Page
