Report on-board Yorkshire Lass II
Had a group of regulars onboard today for an 8 hour trip. Decided to fish the inshore rough ground for cod. Conditions were awkward with the easterly breeze pushing us across tide between strings of pots. we persevered and caught a decent run of cod between 3 and 5 pounds which came to an end at slack water. After moving onto wrecks for the odd better fish we went back onto the ground to finish the day. All in all it turned out to be a good day, with the fishing improving as the water clears out.
