    Report on-board PLAN B

    After all the wind during the past week, I thought the river would be alive with cod... It is alive, but with Skate and whiting and dogs.
    Codling are about but still not the large numbers we are hoping to see...
    The lovely flat calm conditions have made it a pleasure to be out on the river this weekend..
    Best fish we had was this 10.8 Skate (one of 6 caught on Sunday) plus some codling and god knows how many whiting and dogs, plus a few welcome dabs.
