    Report on-board Sea Urchin IIl

    Friday had a trip out to the wrecks .first stop was a big wreck on the 18 mile which is usually a banker but the gusting wind kept taking us through the wreck rather than down the length of it causing us to loose a lot of tackle after only taking a couple of fish in an hour .we tossed a coin where to go next .and opted to come back in to the 9 mile ground stopping on a wreck all 11 rods went in straight away and we picked away getting a nice stamp of codlings up to just over 8 lb .then as the tide got going we moved to the ground picking up more codling and a few ling .top angler ended up allan knaggs who usually helps out onboard but had a day fishing himself and was rewarded with some nice fish best going 8lb 2oz .

    we are running another trip on Thursday 3rd of January if anyone fancies .the long range looks favourable .don't know as yet if it will be drift fishing or at anchor but will know nearer the time .
