Massive thanks to the guys and girls for a great run out today at short notice. A lovely PB Ling for Ryan, and yes, finally, we got Amelia a cracking Ling! Some fantastic double and treble shots of Codling coming up steadily throughout the day, with some solid Pollack and Coalies also coming aboard. Great craic as always, with dolphins to finish the day off in style as we entered the piers on the run home.

Massive thanks to Nick from the Northumberland Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority for organising a run out yesterday with family and friends. We made the most of a short weather window, and found Ewan (who was on vacation from the USA) and Dom a lovely stamp of mackerel for the BBQ that evening. We had literally one drop on a wreck with baited hooks, and Susie wasted no time in finding a fantastic Cod before the cruise home!

We had a wet and wild run out yesterday for Tog and the Barnsley lads from the Keel Inn angling club. Thankfully the choppy seas eased off into the afternoon, but the rain stayed relentless for the majority of the day. Some great stamp of Codling, Ling and Pollack, and plenty of mackerel pretty much all day, making an appearance despite the testing conditions.

A chilly, choppy and windy morning whilst finding some mackerel, turned into a sunny, flat calm afternoon. Great craic with the lads, with some lovely Codling, Ling, Whiting, Haddock, Pouting, Pollack and plenty of Mackerel. Young Tyler taking top rod for the number of fish caught, and Andy finding a fantastic Cod just shy of 15lb.

Fantastic run out last night; Mackerel, Ling, Codling, Haddock, Pouting, with great craic, no wind, glassy seas, Dolphins and an incredible sunset to see the night out!

Flat seas, no wind, fog and rain today. Massive thanks to Chris, Mark and the lads for great craic all day, with some lovely Ling, Codling and Pollack despite the occasional showers!

Great craic all day with flat seas, sunshine and intermittent gusts! Mackerel and Dolphins in the morning, a quick jump to some inshore wrecks when weather permitted at lunchtime to find the lads some Codling and Pollack, and back to locate the Mackerel in the afternoon.

After the amount of trips cancelled lately, it was a pleasure to welcome back Piotr and the lads, all the way from London. Flat seas, no wind and sunshine for a good proportion of the day! We had a rod snapper of a Ling, "literally", at over 18 lb, a lovely stamp of Codling today, and some great table sized Pollack. It was well worth the wait!

Fantastic run out yesterday welcoming back Ash and the guys from Barnsley; we had strong wind and very choppy seas, combined with lengthy periods of flat calm seas, zero wind and suncream required! We found some mackerel in the morning for bait, and when conditions permitted we headed out to a few inshore wrecks and found some lovely codling, pollack and some small ling.
