    Report on-board JFK TWO

    sunday 28th
at last a decent days weather. although its starting to feel very autumnal seems its been nothing but gales of winds since the end of august.
headed out to our usual mackrel marks, managed just about enougth. but there definaterly harder to find than they should be
set off round the wrecks. picking just a few fish here and there mixture of ling pollack and a few cod
steve pulled in a lovely ling of 21lbs. and also lings 14lbs and 12lbs landed a few pollack to 8lbs
overall a slow day but some nice fish
its starting to feel like the end of the season is more or less here especially with yet another tail end of a hurricane forcast for next weekend
    stroll on

    Report on-board JFK TWO

    DING A LING
another lovely days fishing, we started out on the 3mile. making sure we had a good supply of mackrel first thing. as they have been a bit sparse further offshore.
and that is exactly how it played out.so with plenty bait we set off. picking up a few fish at all the wrecks. but with slack water at a certain time . we aimed to be at a paticular mark around 45 mins before slack
    water
and sure enouth first drop 5 rods bent over with good hard fighting fish , first fish to the net a lovely 16.5lbs ling the others mostly also double figurerd lings
the wreck fished for the full 2hrs over the slack water
with another lovely ling at 17.5lbs among them sevral at 15-14 -12 pounds. with around 6o lings only about 4 cod and 8 pollack
but we were targetting mostly ling
    tight lines
