Just a little update from todays wrecking trip we had ten anglers onboard taking 40 cod with the biggest being 22lb 2oz cod, the same angler also captured a 16lb 1oz cod earlier on in the day. good average size of cod in-between 5lb - 6lb.
lofty smith told some of the new faces on board the boat that colin would put them on the cod. he wasn't wrong as this was two of loftys 6 cod -

We had a group of 5 anglers book the boat for a offshore trip at the last minuite due to the flat seas and small tides they were prepared to drop work and get out there to them deep waters 57mile off the tyne. Fish we caught were cod, coalys, haddock, Pollock and ling. the biggest fish being around the 12lb mark. We ended the day with 153 keepers.

We were out on one of our offshore trips on the deeper wrecks 40mile out at sea , tony marron holding some nice cod. we took about 30 - 40 fish biggest about 10lb

Blueye 2 evening charter last night went well despite that SE wind picking up in moderate tide. Crazy Bob and the other anglers in his group experienced to fish the ground. Blueye2 fitted with thrusters to hold her over the wreck for period to land the fish. Cod up to 7 lbs few pollock.

afternoon, Blueye2 this morning on short 5hr trip on the ground and inshore wrecks had cod up to 8lbs and ling up to 13lbs. Still a lot tide today dropping off towards the weekend. Lets see what tonight evening trip brings. Last two weeks we fished well on average day trip 40 - 116 keepers cod ling pollock. Jed richer son in the pic holding some his fish
