A hard day's fishing to get through the whiting and dogfish but the yellows paid dividends with 2 small bass and a very hectic funny day with the lads from Rochester who are welcome back any time. Very good trip today with our Belgium friends who hadn't caught skate before so we battled through the N W wind and started fishing. Very slow at times but we ground out a few better fish biggest skate just topping 10lb then the whiting kicked in with 4 being the best drop then a hound at last knocking by Kestas who comes with us regularly . Malck it will be your turn next time!

Testing conditions at times today but still good banter and food with some good fish at times when there was enough tide which didn't last for long. Just blowing a gale and water spout just missed us Taking bookings and still got 3 places for this Sunday 27th October weather is looking good we will be trying to find a elusive unicorn as weather is looking good. Another cracking day with brilliant company and banter aboard Lady Ann of Ramsgate, plenty of skate which we moved away from to try for some hounds. Very hard to get through the dogs and whiting but found a few.

The weather didn't disappoint today they said easterly strong and they were not wrong but we did have an ace up our sleeve an x trawler legend Kevin Abott most of you at Ramsgate would know him, just kept laughing at the swell. Had a few skate and hounds but had to admit defeat and head inshore but no joy just whiting and dogs and one skate but what a day I've lost my voice with laughter thank you David Warman for taking boat home while I skinned a few skate and Colin Wimbush for just being himself and Andrew for keeping going in hard conditions the whopper hot dogs did the trick though. What a fantastic day with a brisk easterly wind chuffing we made a decision to rough it as the Belgium party wanted skate and they were not disappointed. We even lassood a skate and had one on the hook double hook up brilliant day lovely people who left Belgium at midnight to get here early for a 7 o'clock sail. Tricky conditions today lack of tide boat swinging on anchor still managed 20 Skate and few hounds plus a Bass and the dreaded whiting. Excellent day with amazing group even with me trying to retrieve tackle around anchor rope. The skate were flying up today these 2 came up together nice to see, both returned to fight another day. Good sign of Smoothounds as well around the 6 to 8 lb mark, some good fishing this week.

A mixed day today plenty of small skate hard work trying to find better stamp of fish but nice to see a codling and a small Bass that was David's first ever Bass. All ways a good feeling and saw our first proper whiting maybe this winter won't be to bad.

A very hard day's fishing today to much ground swell to push off and anchor. Found a few hounds on the crab but the highlight of the day were the hot dogs, wish I had taken pics but they ate them to fast. Thanks boys and girls for fun day.
