Massive thanks to Ash and the guys for making the trip up from Barnsley today; we struggled to find any mackerel for bait so the guys were predominantly fishing shads and targeting pollack, with some lovely codling and ling in the mix. It turned into the Pollack Apocalypse! Myself and Henry learned a lot from them today thats for sure. We look forward to welcoming them back soon!

Cracking Father's Day run out in windy and choppy conditions; the guys soldiered on and we kept trying til the end.
The better stamp of mackerel were found the further offshore we ventured, with some codling, pollock, whiting, coalies, haddock and pouting in the mix.
When the opportunity presented itself, we hopped on a spot known to produce ling; Piotr and his twin brother Pedro (his first ever time fishing) knocked into one each on their first drop, and Pedro found another two over the next couple of drifts.
At this point the wind and chop were proving too problematic so we headed for home with a couple of stops for mackerel along the way. -

Fantastic run out with the guys today in the morning sunshine and flat seas, with a nice stamp of codling, ling and pollack. There was also non stop sport on whiting, haddock, pouting and mackerel; once the wind picked up in the afternoon the fishing tailed off before a choppy run home.

Massive thanks to John and the guys for travelling over today for a private charter; fantastic weather, flat seas and great craic! We set up for the last wreck of the day, and then got distracted for about an hour by an incredible display, by what we believed to be a Minke Whale, while it played / breached around the boat only metres away..we ended up getting back to Royal Quays Marina over an hour late

Cracking run out on a sunny Sunday; we spent the majority of the day finding shoals of mackerel, shoals of haddock, coalies, and whiting with the occasional gurnard (and even a weaver fish). Some lovely codling also making an appearance on feathers!
