    The inshore fishing on the Reefs, Banks, Mussel beds have produced Turbot, Brill, Plaice, Rays, Tope, Smooth Hounds,Congers Bull Huss , Black Bream, Bass, Gurnards etc. It is nice to see the Black Bream turning up on the Reefs now.

    Pictured is Graham Smith with his 6Ib 8oz Turbot and new Personal Best.

    Sakuma Stinger Hooks sizes 1/0, 2/0 and 4/0 have been the favoured hooks for the inshore species.

    Recent wrecking trips have produced Pollack,Cod,Bass and Ling which were caught on variety of Red Gill lures with the pink ones catching the majority of the Cod and Pollack and the blue and white ones working best for the Bass. Kevin Clark had a good trip catching numerous Cod along with a Pollack or two which included a 10Ib Pollack and a 10Ib 8oz Cod, Kevin is pictured with an 10Ib 8oz Cod.

    Recent wrecking trips have produced Pollack,Cod,Bass and Ling which were caught on variety of Red Gill lures with the pink ones catching the majority of the Cod and Pollack and the blue and white ones working best for the Bass. Kevin Clark had a good trip catching numerous Cod along with a Pollack or two which included a 10Ib Pollack and a 10Ib 8oz Cod, Kevin is pictured with an 10Ib Pollack.

    A busy few days with a variety of trips.Had 2 days species competition fishing with the Welsh team v the Army team, pleny of different species caught which included Personal Bests for Peter Gardner 15Ib Undulate Ray who was the top angler on the Saturday with the highest points total,Medwyn Jones landed his Personal Best Thornback Ray weighing 14Ib 8oz(pictured).
    The flatty trips produced Turbot Brill and Plaice with Roy Bailey landing his Personal Best Plaice weighing 3Ib 8oz . The Wrecks produced Pollack,Cod and Bass.

    A morning session at anchor on a Bank produced some fine Blonde Rays which gave the anglers a right old tug on their tackle.
    The successful bait was calamari squid and mackerel cocktails on pennel rigs of Sakuma Manta hooks.

    Pictured is Bill Oliver with the 16Ib Blonde Ray he caught which set a new Personal Best fior Bill. The Ray was retuned alive to grow bigger.
