Flamer IV has been cleaned, polished, all the maintenance done and also the five year out of the water survey all passed. Flamer IV is now back in the water and I am itching to get you back out fishing. So if you would like to get out on her first trip of 2016 on SATURDAY JANUARY 23rd which is an 8 to 9 hour Reef/Bank trip for Rays,Cod,Whiting,Congers etc. Then book your place/s asap. Don't Miss Out. Also Don't forget to book your trip/s and place/s for this year.

JANUARY 2016 - FEATURE IN SEA ANGLER
In the current issue of Sea Angler Magazine (issue 527 on sale Jan 14 to Feb 10) on pages 74,75,76,77, There is a feature wrote by Dave Lewis entitled '' The Red Gill Story'' ,were it shows me making Red Gill lures of my design and I have called them the 'Ginger Tosher' range. These lures will be used on a wrecking trip with Dave lewis coming along to do a feature with each angler getting some free Ginger Tosher Lures to use. Alex at my sponsors Red Gill/Sakuma has donated a prize for the best fish caught one of these lures.The Ginger Tosher lure trip is on February 21st.

JANUARY 2016
Flamer IV has been lifted out of the water for maintenance, general clean up and check over, Hull anti fouled and polished, Engine service etc. Also as she is now five years old so she is due a full survey for the licensing authorities which will be done.Pictured is Flamer IV having here bottom cleaned.
All being well Flamer IV will ready for trips starting on January 23rd.

The Reef/Bank fishing is producing lots of Whiting,Rays,Congers etc on Squid and Mackerel baits. Pictured is 70 year old Colin Gardiner who caught his Personal Best Small Eyed Ray weighing 9Ib. There are dates and places available during the Christmas and New Year period. Don't Miss Out.

DECEMBER 2015
The last match in of the 2015 Flamer IV Specimen Species League saw Peter Collings get 1st place with a fine catch of Congers,Whiting etc.
The overall Results for the 2015 Flamer IV Specimen Species League were - Champion - David Gibson 73 points, (David Gibson is pictured)
Runner Up - Andy Collings 72 points,Best Specimen - Peter Collings 98.2%, Most Species - Andy Collings with 26 different species, Pairs Winners - Andy Collings and Danny Curtis with 27 different species, The Most Improved Angler Award went to Stephan Attwood.
The league is to run again in 2016 and will be fished on Sunday's. If you are interested in taking part in the friendly/competitive league,then contact asap for details.
