After refitting the boat out with new engines giving the boat a top speed of 25 knots, and new layout of cabin and deck, the boat now has a island cabin so you can fish from all sides of the boat. In front of the cabin lots of room for up tide fishing, seats and rod holders for all on the boat. A side door and stern door for walk on or wheel chair use. Fishing so far this year we have been catching Bream, Rays, Bass, & Pollack and more .
Pictured here is a group with Pollack caught off a wreck. As the water warms up the Mackerel have started
to show, we will be fishing for Turbot, Brill,& rays on the ground and fishing wrecks at anchor for Conger, Ling,
bream, & Pollack, some weekend dates available and week days, and in the summer 4 hour evening trips for
    Mackerel and bream fishing.

We took advantaged of the warm clam weather last week and fished some offshore Wrecks, where we had
some nice Pollack drifting over the wreck, the best was 14lb caught by Phil Freeman on a Mackerel lure.

We anchored up to fish into the wreck with some baits for Conger and Ling Bream and Pollack, it worked for
a while but the tide go to strong so we went back on the drift and caught some Ling bream and Pollack.

Simon caught a couple of ling 12lb been his best, Ritchie caught a Personal best 13lb, Brian had a 11lb Ling.
Jack Lander Aged 9 caught a 15lb 8oz Ling his biggest fish so far, you can watch the Video of him catching
it on my CBUK page or on YOUTUBE search for yellowfinskipper.

Not long now for the inshore Cod fishing to start lets hope it a good one, all the best to you all.

5 Apr 2014 by kurt lander

With two different weather reports for Saturday 5th April, we made the right choice and went of in to the distance
in search of Cod and Pollack, the Cod have been very elusive this season on the wrecks, only some small ones
caught on bait while ground fishing.

So it was down to the Pollack to give some sport and they did, Big bob from London, on his first fishing trip
caught a 14lb Pollack, said he enjoyed catching his fish but would be his last, he was feeling sick for the rest
    of the day .

Another Bob on his Birthday trip caught five Pollack, a 14lb 6oz Pollack, the best of the day.

Thanks to Bob, Bob, Bob, Mark Paul, John and Peter.

With the day light lasting longer so have our long distance wreck fishing trips,
over 30 miles out in the English Channel where the wrecks get fished less, a
Fine body of men from Heart's and Essex was on their first wreck trip on
    Yellowfin,

The first Wreck of the day only gave us one Pollack so of over the horizon
we went. The next wreck was fishing much better, wind and tide pushing
us along at 1.5 knots over the wreck, the group started catching some nice
Pollack, on a mixture of lures Rhubarb & Custard colures worked the best,
Paul Crittell and son Steven had a fish fight, Farther beat son 6 fish to 1.
Best Fish of the day was caught by Paul, 13lb 8oz

All on boat had a good day, as you can see from the group picture. Thanks
Peter, Trevor, Steve, Paul, Dixie, Martin, Steve, Derek & Digger.
If you want to fish long distant wrecks with fish on them give us call & book
    a trip on Yellowfin.

    All the best
