Well the Bass fishing continues to be absolutely incredible & we are having a fantastic season aboard Dawn Tide II
The average size of bass over the last few weeks has been 4-5lb with bass going 7-8lbs most trips now!
Depending on the conditions & tides on the day We are targeting them on various Methods such as surface Lures, Jigs, soft plastics, metals, live baits, worms baits or dead baits.
Some trips we are in deeper water at anchor then other trips very shallow on the sands others we hit the wrecks & rough ground on the drift.
A good variety of styles & grounds rather than fish the same old local marks!
Remember Some days will be better than others as always but its been pretty consistent over the last 2-3 weeks & should only get even better as we approach autumn - hard to believe i know but its true!
Remember i push further offshore this time of year right up until the season ends in midd November. By pushing off we experience some of the most epic bassing you will ever see in you life!!
The sizes & numbers have been out of this world over the last 6-7 season & the way the offshore fishing has been through the summer months im expecting this autumn to be the best one yet!!
Im Really looking forward to it & showcasing the insane bass fishing yet again we have in Essex.
Heads up My diary is open for next season but the fridays & weekends have almost gone already.

Hi guys
Well the exceptional bassing continues through August the lures & baits both working well with a mixed stamp of fish different each day local & offshore!
Lately there been a fair amount of fish coming over the rail around the 60-65cm with many anglers hitting there new PB twice in one trip!
The main focus for us now will be bass as the nights draw in & we start to venture further offshore.
As many of you know this signals the start of some of the best bassing you will ever experience just look back at my previous aug, sept, oct, nov reports its unreal
Along side the bass fishing we have seen plenty of hounds when we have bait fished along with the odd stingray, skate & tope.
But really & truly now we will be pushing further off now as much as the forcast allows until the season ends
Next availability is end oct start nov i just updated the calendar but keep An eye out for cancellations you never know it dose happen
Also next years diary is open & already filling

We have been continuing to target bass on the many types of lures, jigs & surface poppers aboard Dawn Tide II & its been absolutely incredible this season the numbers & stamp of fish are exceptional & it’s proving to be very popular now days.
It’s looking like its going to be a bumper season & i have high hopes for the autumn offshore Bassing that has already started!
Sorry if i have been slow in responding to your enquiries its manic lots of early starts & late finishes but i will get back to you all eventually i promise but heads up next Availability is now October on our autumn offshore bassing trips.

The lure fishing for bass continues to be absolutely manic had some really mega days on the lures recently
The Bigger hounds have arrived in fair numbers now lovely stamp of doubles when fished for up in the shallows & close in too
The Mackerel are showing they are still patchy though but they have started atleast
The Tope seem to bd in great numbers this year locally & offshore so lets hope they hang around
My offshore adventures start now im really looking forward to exploring further afield as we had some excellent days last few seasons trying new things can’t sit on the same old local marks for ever!
Also A heads up Our well known Autumn offshore Bass trips are filling up quickly
The bass fishing offshore here on the lures is absolutely out of this world I would recommend booking in advance to avoid missing out

Sorry for lack of reports on here been super super busy
The Fishing has been great as of late nice &
Steady on the Hounds, Tope & Bass on the bottom baits
The Lure fishing is absolutely on fire at the moment with the bulk of our trip’s targeting Bass on the lures. To be honest Its not very hard to get the 2 fish limit within a few casts great sport & a good average
We Had the first strings of mackerel the other day too
My offshore exploration trips start now along with the Tope trips
My Evening lure & hound trips have started they prove to be very popular as I haven’t much availability until august now hence putting on the evening trips these give everyone a chance to get out while the fishing is good

Sorry for the lack of reports on here
I have been super busy i will try to update more regularly
The Bass are showing now we are seeing a fair few coming over the rails most trips last few trips they were a good stamp of male fish,
Hounds have been showing since late February mainly 7-8lb fish but the odd big female showing too,
Rays are patchy some days we get a steady flow other days they are patchy but we have had some lovely double figure ones recently,
Worm & crab baits are definitely needed at the moment the lures will kick off once the water clears up,
Spurdogs are showing locally hopefully they hang around for a while but you must strike while the irons hot as they soon move back offshore

Spring fishing has kicked off now with the hounds & Rays coming steadily over the rail good sizes too.
The Bass are showing very well my spring bass fishing starts on the 1st of April when the season opens not long & we will be hitting them on the lures aswell as the baits.
The mackerel & Tope usually will move in as we approach May then its all systems go on the fish front!
Lots of offshore adventures in the diary this year no point sitting on the same old marks catching the same old fish when there is uncharted territory to be fished!
Lots of trips chasing bass on the lures as always
& plenty of evening lures sessions too i will put in some evening hound & tope sessions on suitable tides

Guys
Dawn Tide II is back afloat after annual maintenance & inspections.
Spring fishing has begun did our first trip of the season the other day & we boated rays & schoolie bass. As we move through march numbers will increase & hounds should start to show too possibly spurs too.
My Diary is open it dose get super from April onwards as the bass season opens 1st april but there is still is some limited availability remaining
Good to be back at it will be doing plenty of trips the next few weeks of you fancy getting out ��

Guys just a heads up & a update
I have limited availability left for the summer / autumn bassing its best to contact me for remaining availability as it changes daily.
Early Spring still has some midd weeks available & a couple of weekend walk ons left at the moment.
The beginning of the 2025 season is fast fast approaching its literally a couple Of weeks away.
I have been Gearing up for a busy one again
Just Ordered x8 Penn battalion jigging kits for the boat & some brand new penn rod hire kits,
I have Been Stocking up the boat with a mega amount of jigs, lures & equipment
I have too have a good stock now days as i am at the forefront of the bass lure fishing in the area. I have heavily invested into the gear needed for the lure & jig fishing this should ultimately increase our proven catch rate even more
You have Got to be in it to win it!
I have Filled the freezers with the spring baits needed for hounds, Rays, Tope & spurs!
we will be starting on them lures & baits for bass midd march early April.
I have been cracking on the the annual vessel maintenance she booked to be back afloat for the end of the month & then season kicks off full time from the 1st march & will end around Christmas!
Really looking forward to another great season lots of exciting trips planned with plenty of offshore adventures locked inn.
Hopefully see new & old faces onboard this year for some epic days afloat thanks guys ������
