A really good 8hr inshore trip today
Matt has been trying to beat his pb best cod for numerous years and today he finally got his first double weighing 11lb 3oz
Overall there was alot of codlings about today and among them a good amount of better fish and mackerel too. -

Some belting fish on todays offshore trip
Best cod today was 11lb but we had several good size fish including a belting pollock over 9lb
Baited feathers seemed to be working best today.
With wrecking tides this week hopefully we get some settled weather to keep going offshore but unfortunately we keep getting easterly spells at the moment. -

Not ideal conditions today with a fresh north westerly blowing nearly all of the trip
But the lads still managed to pull a good amount of fish aboard
Some good size cod and pollock as well as plenty of just size cod which were returened if they had a good chance of survival.
The mackerel seam to be finally well established but are patchy in places but we have finally seen several string fulls come aboard. -

Another cracking day today. The 5 anglers aboard very happy with thier catch still a good amount of cod about.
Seen a few more mackerel starting to show but very patchy. -

Another good trip out today
Baited hokkas seamed to be the best today
But a very good stamp of of fish
Also a few mackerel caught today but very thin on the ground. -

Its been a while since our last report due to covid.
Fishing inshore is slowly improving as the algae bloom slowly burns away.
Unbaited Shads seamed to be taking the better cod and pollock now. With our detail shads working brilliantly as usual.

Overal today was a really good trip with a good selection of cod and pollock upto 8lb -

***Update***
Further to yesterday's government update we though we best clarify our position
Yes it appears that shore fishing or boat fishing will be allowed from Wednesday. This must be either on your own or with members from same household, maintaining the social distancing measures. THEREFORE, we are still unable to run charter trips.
We will contact our customers who are booked in the immediate future.
Some boats are offering a price for a single person charter and we will look at this in due course.
Nick and Vicky would both like to thank our customers old and new for their continued support and hope they understand that our customers and our own safety must be the priority.
