Loads of well size fish returned to fight another day as the lads thought they had more than enough fish

Best fish today was a 10lb cod photo in earlier post. Had a nice pollock around 8 1/2lb too

Unbelievable fishing today with most angler having 20 to 30 codling/cod a piece.

Hopefully this clear water stays now for the summer

Also seen mackerel for the first time today.

Another swilly day today with some fresh northerly winds. So we had to travel north off our usual fishing grounds for comfort.

Made fishing challenging at times. But the anglers still managed to find a good amount of fish in a short space of time.

Caught today where plenty of dogfish, codling upto 4lb, coalfish and wrasse.

Best fish from todays short inshore trip a 6 1/2lb pollock.

Also caught today was severel codling around the 2 to 4lb area. Many good size coalfish and a short spine sea scorpion.

Sea contidions were tough today with wind against tide all day but the fish didnt seam to mind to much.

Also saw for the first time this year were birds diving which is a good sign of the start of summer fishing to come.

Report from our 6 hour trip

We started out on uptiding ground which was very productive with a good selection of codling (2 to 4lb), dogfish and pouting.

All customers caught on the grounds as slack water approched we lifted anchor and ran off to the inshore wrecks unfortunalty the wrecks were not playing ball today tide was perfect but not a great amount was caught we did manage to get a few better cod but general fishing was slow. The wrecks had cleared out but now aglee blume seams to have crept in.

Hopefully with some more shelter weather or a chance to run further offside we can find some clear water, and hopefully a good amount of decent size fish.

Photos of some of the lads fish from todays 8hr trip.

Like yesterday a good amount of fish caught. within the first few hours the lads put alot of fish back which wasnt deeply hooked as they were happy with what they allready had to take home.

Again nothing massive but a good few fish around the 5lb area caught.

Great set of lads with plenty of banter

Photos from some of the fish caught on todays 6hr trip.

Conditions were not great with some strong winds but it was just fishable tooked under the cliffs.

Had a few fish around 4 to 5lb but most were codlings which were legal size but the anglers prefered to return them as well as the most dogfish ive ever seen on a trip over 25 caught in todays trip.

Water clarity looks perfect for uptiding now so hopefully see a better of stamp of fish showing soon if weather allows.
