more variety today...coalies,cod(3.5lb),haddock,whiting,huss,doggies,herring,red gurnard,a few mackerel and Pollack under the cliffs to 8lb...plenty of variety,plenty of fish

mixed crew out today with a catch of coalies,cod to 3.5lb,haddock to 2.5lb,gurnard,whiting and some mackerel,,huss and dogfish ,pollack showing in the weeds and the best was 6lb

2 short fishing trips today,huss,doggies,herring,gurnard,pollack and coalies whilst fishing at anchor with baited feathers.....best of the bunch were these 2 codling at 3.5lb each.
mackerel are now turning up on every trip but not in great numbers and water clarity is vital -

another mixed bunch for 3 hrs and again clarity was a problem.managed to catch some doggies,small codling,3 sea scorpions and some Pollack from the weeds,biggest at 5lb

had a mixed group out for 4 hrs,suffered with water clarity til tide ebbed.got the anchor down and caught doggies,small haddock& cod,biggest 2.5lb several bull huss with biggest at 9lb

had a short trip out this afternoon and we managed codling and haddock to 2.5lb,6 herring and a lone mackerel......water clarity has improved vastly and we can now see down about 25ft.....great for the predatory sight hunters
lots of undersize codling and haddock around -

2 x 3hr trips today,the morning trip was made up of small whiting,the afternoon trip was full of undersize haddock and codling,biggest of both being 2.5lb,lots of whiting also and some launce sandeel.
12 mackerel caught this afternoon!! -

had a mixed bunch of lads out today and had over 400 fish......but 350 were returned!!
bulk of catch was made up of undersize haddock and codling,with whiting,coalies and strap ling.cod and haddock "keepers" were around 2.5lb.pollack are in the weeds but 2.5lb was the largest we could find,coalies averaged 1.5lb.
3 mackerel caught!! the first of the scouts! -

Had a 3hr trip out with a party from Lanarkshire on a day when the weather slowly but steadily deteriorated. nothing was showing to anchored baits but we did achieve 2 Pollack in the harbour entrance, biggest 6lb,the other 5lb with numerous takes but no connections whilst fishing "rhubarb and custard " sidewinders
