Hi all took my boat out with my partner on wed gave the boat a run anchored on a reef that I fish Tina's fist fish was a bass just under size so whent back safely followed by nice bream up to 2lbs i had bream a undlute ray of 10lbs plaice up to 2 lbs lovely day fishing if u fancy a trip please ring steve kind regards

Photo is of Zhou with a 16lb Pollack caught on our first trip out of Brighton Marina!
YELLOWFIN charter boat is now in BRIGHTON MARINA, we moved on the 17th December. So, 2020 will be a better year as we will not be stuck on Mud! We'll be wreck fishing for Pollack, Ling, Conger and Bass. This year you will be allowed to keep 2 BASS a day, as long as they're over 42cm this starts March until end of November. We'll be Plaice fishing in late February - March, then in April the Bream should start to arrive. We'll be fishing new wrecks and ground fishing spots, and some of the old ones that have given us some good fish. Turbot fishing in the Summer along with Mackerel trips, just as we did from Newhaven. What can I say, The Ocean Warrior Crew came up trumps again!. My nephew, visiting from the States, wanted to try his hand at fishing the Channel. Dave put together an individual’s trip targeting Blonde Rays during the slack and Turbot once the tide started to trickle.
All Anglers managed to catch and the jovial atmosphere and helpfulness of the crew made for another memorable trip. This topped off with my personal best Turbot!
My nephew Zach had a “lifetime experience” his words not mine, and surely will not forget Dave and Jay’s hospitality. Jay had to think on his feet when Zach hooked into a 12lb undulate on 6lb Turbot gear. Coaxing Zach on how to “Pump and Wind” they soon had the fish boated. Zach found it a little slimy so the picture is of me holding his fish. After photos, Jay released it to fight another day. View Boats Page

MYSELF AND MY 2 SONS BOOKED A 4 HOUR TRIP LEAVING AT 4PM ON A LOVERLY SUNNY DAY WITH NO MUCH WIND SO WAS ON A WINNER ALREADY IT WAS A REAL PLEASURE FISHING WITH IAIN ON ROUGH DIAMOND NOTHING WAS TO MUCH TROUBLE FOR HIM GAVE 3 OF US GREAT ADVISE AND WAS HELPFUL AND MADE US WELCOME .THE FISHING GEAR SUPPLIED WAS OF GREAT QUAILTY EVEN WHEN WE LOST A FEW LURES IT WAS NOT A PROBLEM HE WORKED HARD TRYING TO PUT US ON THE FISH BETWEEN USWE CAUGHT 2 BASS 2 GURNARD 3 MACKEREL AND LOST A FEW I THINK YOU WOULD ENJOY THE FISHING AND GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY WE ARE BOOKING UP AGAIN TO GO OUT AGAIN SOON THANKS GEORGE

Another brilliant day on the brand new Ocean Warrior 3. Large bream all day long breaking my previous record of 14 in one day to 36 today! Majority went back to fight another day! Thank you Dave for the precision anchoring. Boat only 50 feet away from us managed the odd bream but were plagued with pout. Jay kept the kettle going throughout the day and was a deft hand on the net....

Clive Bon Caught a Personal best Pollack of 17lb 6oz and 5 more Pollack over 10lb . He used blue and white slims on a long trace, using a slow retrieve at various depths .

Weather has not been kind to us of late here on the South Coast but when we have managed to get out we have been having some cracking Pollock off of the wrecks to over 17lb. Average weights are up on last 2 seasons with double figure fish being far more common than single figure ones.
Great sport which will continue through until March when we prepare for Black Bream fishing inshore. Last year was fantastic with catches of 100 fish per day not uncommon and up to 4lb in weight.

Last month we had some cracking weather.
This month however has started off a bit windy. We are still getting summer fishing inshore. We have had Undulate Rays, a few Cod starting to show and we are still catching Conger along with a few Bass still around.
Woody had a day out on Ocean Warrior 3 and caught his personal best Bass of 14lb using Mackerel bait.

The excellent run of Turbot & Brill has continued throughout the Summer and we continue to see up to 40 fish/day being boated. With a few Cod appearing inshore we will soon be focusing our attention on them as we build toward the wrecking season.
