Well the break in the weather gave us the chance to get out and chase some Cod.
View Boats Page
There are a lot of them out there at the moment, although they are mainly just sizeable.
The odd better cod is being caught if you can get through the hoppers.
The Roker are also still being caught, along plenty of good sized Whiting, but we wont mention the millions of Leopard sharks. All in all there is some very good sport to be had at the moment so get out there and make the most of it. -

Report on-board Ocean Warrior 3
Now that Autumn has arrived the Turbot and Brill fishing is now starting to slow up. Although over the last couple of weeks we have still seen some nice sized fish on the open ground marks and some good sized Conger showing on the wrecks.

We are now looking to the beginning of the Winter Cod fishing season, although with the odd wrecking trip sneaking in there. There are a few Cod starting to show already on the inshore ground marks.
We now have our tide tables for 2015 and are now taking bookings. There are a few weekend dates available at the moment, so get yourselves booked in early as the weekend dates are going quickly already. -

Report on-board Ocean Warrior 3
This month the weather has been pretty good to us and we have managed to get a few good trips in.

There have been some good sized Turbot and Brill around, along with some good sized Conger on the wrecks. Andy Matthews had the biggest eel this month at 83lb 6oz, caught on a Mackerel flapper.
They had 100 eels over 2 days of fishing. All the eels were returned to sea alive to give other anglers some good sport fishing and to conserve the stocks of Conger.
There were also some good Black Bream showing on the wrecks with the odd Cod and Ling showing as well.
We are just beginning to find some Cod and Whiting showing on the inshore ground, so throughout October we will move inshore for the winter Cod season.

Calvin & John enjoyed a good days fishing for Brill & Turbot with their family & friends on a day that started
off with lots of rain thunder and lightning and strong winds, but half way through the day
the weather changed the rain stopped the sea calmed down and the fish started feeding.
John's mate Alan on his maiden voyage on Yellowfin spent most of the day been ill but on
the last drift caught his first Turbot, a good cure for sea sickness. John caught a 7lb 4oz Brill
Calvin's Brill 6lb

Fantastic weather for an inshore trip today, pollack, mackerel, bream, whiting and even a tiny tom pot blenny came over the gunnels. Laugh a minute with a group from Bedford.
