WE ARE NOW BOOKING FOR 2014
We are pleased to let you know that we are now taking bookings for 2014.
We have still got some weekend dates available to book up. Please book in early for these to avoid being disappointed as the weekends are always a favourite for anglers.
Ocean Warrior 3 is looking forward to another good year of fishing out of the port of Newhaven, East Sussex. Lets hope for some great fishing weather through 2014!
The first run of the big Cod will be coming through January and February on the drift out on the deep water wrecks, then in March the big Pollock will start showing as well. It should be a good start to the year.
All types of anglers are welcome, individual spaces or full boat bookings can be made from now. Corporate bookings also welcome. If you would like to discuss your booking in detail call David on 07966 377145.

This week we had the Lewes 'Really Wrecked Sea Angling Club' out for a trip. They caught 12 nice sized Blonde Rays, the biggest was 26lb 5oz which was a new club record and went to Adam Frost. It was great sport on light tackle. All the Blonde Rays were weighed and returned to sea alive.
On the inshore Cod fishing marks the fishing has also been good. We have had Cod up to 23lb and there are also plenty of Whiting showing on the inshore marks as well.

As we look back at October we feel quite please with the results, we have seen quite as selection of species, a good selection of Turbot ,Bass ,Mackerel, Black Bream, Bass, Brill, Blonde Ray, Thorne Back Skate, Gurnard and Pollack.
As Summer now merges into Autumn we look forward to the return of the cod and codling , and a greater number of Pollack to the wrecks ,inshore there are will still a good number of fish to be had. Codling, Bass Whiting, Bream and Plaice, there have been several good size Plaice caught up to 7lbs

Now that we are moving in to Autumn, the inshore Cod fishing has started well. We have had some nice Cod coming up already.
The biggest one this week so far went to Wladyslaw Sikorski with his 23lb Cod. This was his first time sea fishing and they all enjoyed their day out Cod fishing.
It has been nice to see some new faces aboard Ocean Warrior 3.
There have also been plenty of Whiting showing as well. The Cod fishing will only get better as the weather gets colder.
We have also still been getting some nice Brill and Turbot on the offshore marks when the weather has been calmer. All around the fishing has been really good this month.

We have managed to keep on the Brill and Turbot lately, along with the odd Blonde Ray showing on the offshore marks.
The biggest Blonde Ray went to David Furness, which was 17lb, which was his first time aboard Ocean Warrior 3. The Blonde Ray was weighed, photographed and returned to sea alive. They also had some nice Brill and Turbot to take home.
On the inshore marks we have been catching a few Cod and Whiting as they are just starting to show over the rough ground. Looking forward to seeing some nice big Cod over the next few weeks on the baits.
It is now coming to the end of the season for the Brill and Turbot. We have now reached mid September and fishing is still good with inshore catches of Bream and Plaice and the odd small Codling, we are still finding good catches of Turbot and Brill on the deep banks and some of the outside wrecks are producing fine specimen's of Pollack and Bass

Autumn Turbot and Brill Fishing on Ocean Warrior 3
Newhaven's Ocean Warrior 3 is still on the Turbot and the Brill with some outstanding results. Tomasz Lukaszewicz who had been given a gift voucher and never been sea fishing before had some nice Turbot and Brill. His biggest Brill was 8lb which was a good catch for his first time out.
The weather has been reasonable of late as we come to the end of the summer. We will stay on the Turbot and Brill for a little bit longer then back on the first run of Cod, which will be starting to show soon. I am looking forward to the first run of Cod coming, which will be in the next couple weeks. We will back fishing at anchor with the big Cod baits back on.

The weather has been quite nice of late and the fishing has been good. There have been some nice Conger, Cod and Black Bream coming up at anchor on the wrecks.
The Turbot and Brill fishing has been amazing this week. Really Wrecked SAC from Lewes had a cracking day out Turbot and Brill fishing. They caught their club record Turbot of 21lb 4oz, caught by Phil Brooks from Haywards Heath. He caught it on an offshore sandbank using a mackerel fillet. Total catch on the day was 42 Turbot and 12 Brill up to 7lb, they put 8 Turbot back to sea alive as they were on the small side. This is Phil Brooks with club record catch. August has turned out to be a very successful month aboard Misty Blue with good catches of Plaice,some good sizes up to 4lbs 8oz, Black Bream, Large Torpedo Mackerel up to 2lbs 8ozs,Garfish Wrasse, but best of all large amounts of Turbot and Brill up to 7lb 6oz and 5lbs respectively, most anglers aboard have experienced catching these fish. why not join us aboard Misty Blue for a fishing trips
