After loosing faith with fishing from Scarborough I should have followed previous reviews what a trip to be on. Friendly knowledgeable skipper who volunteers for his local RNLI and has a very high standard onboard. The booking was professional with all the information, terms and conditions sent across. The night before as promised we had the confirmation call, when onboard Nick gave a safety brief explaining all the situations making us feel really safe. Not the newest boats but it's really looked after and the skippers knowledge of the boat and area shows. I must of caught 45+ fish mainly 3 to 5lb cod.

I definitely will be coming back soon and thank you Nick for all the hard work you do. I nearly abandoned fishing from Scarborough after using 2 other companies.

Had a fantastic 6 hour trip today with my dad on board the skylark i caught 4 cod and a couple of wrasse and sand eels the captain filleted the for us and he even let me drive the boat on the way back me and my dad had a brilliant day would definitely recommend going again

Fantastic experience from start to finish, went our wrecking on Monday and enjoyed it so much went back out on the Wednesday. Nick the skipper always put us on the fish, has a great selection of tackle/lures/rods & reels on board.
Great atmosphere and Nick incredibly knowledgeable with great watercraft. Can't recommend enough, from the experienced angler with all their own gear all the way to those with no gear who have never fished before.

Fantastic experience I enjoyed it that much I have already booked to go again this week.

What a great day we had! Memories made for me, my boy and his grandad. Thanks Nick for giving us plenty of sport and keeping us on fish all day. We'll be back for another trip, hopefully some time soon.

Had the best trip I've ever had with Nick on Skylark on 16.09.24. fishing was constant and many fish over 20lb caught on this trip. Which is unheard offin this area before.

Great seeing Nick beat his own personal best and run around the boat all trip with the net and gaff which was very much needed on this trip.

Can't wait for September wreck fishing in 2025!!!

Fished on Skylark a few times now, and on several boats on the east coast as well as shore fishing, gathering my own bait etc.

Have to say Nick is the best skipper on the east coast really knows his marks, techniques and boat knowledge is unreal.

Unfortunately Scarborough has several boats with skippers that don't have a clue what to do or where to go. Nick definatly isn't one of these and is a total different league when it comes to angling off Scarborough.

Had the most amazing 3 hour fishing trip on Wednesday whuch ended up with us catching, Ling, Cod, Mackerel, and a great sized Pollock. Ling over 11lb ��
Great family time spent with my wife and son and cannot recommend doing anything better for an adventure you'll never forget. All tackle and bait provided with expert tuition that we took to on our first cast. Actually took us wreck fishing 5 miles out and came back to stop Mackerel fishing close to the harbour. We're sure to come back ��

We had a fantastic time fishing on the skylark, for my sons 18th birthday, he caught a ling, mackerel and herring, he was so chuffed, the skipper even gave us an extra hour so everyone had a chance to catch a fish, really pleasant experience and would highly recommend anyone thinking of going fishing.We will be returning next year for a longer trip.

4. It was a bit delayed heading out but we weren’t disappointed. We shared the boat with 6 others and Nick kept us all informed. Within 2 mins we caught a fish which was great. It went a little quiet (as is the nature of fishing…no guarantees) so we moved somewhere else. Nick was a great skipper (who is also involved with RNLI), and the time flew by. My eldest caught two and my wife (who has no interest in fishing) caught a cod!!!! Nick shared lots of interesting stories and we stayed out longer to give us more chances to catch stuff as well as letting the kids skipper the boat. We LOVED it. Thanks to Nick!!!
