Been going out on YELLOWFIN for just over four years now, over the time our group has had lots of good fish cod over 20lb, and pollack of 16lb which was caught on our last trip by my mate ian, i had a nice pollack, lots caught on the day, kurt is very helpfull with sorting out tangles making sure you have a good day out with a good skipper, finds the fish , makes a move to another wreck if no fish on it.

Thankfully for a change the English weather actually let the Send seacrew out for a day's fishing. We all had a good day catching pollock from 7lb to the monster I yanked up, being 19lb 2oz. What a fish. All the fish were caught on side winder lures and, living dangerously staying as close to the wreck as possible, not getting too sentimental about your tackle, and willing to wave it goodbye! The fish I caught had to go down to my local pub to claim the £20 bet I had that I would not blank. He had to pay up really, the turd! Kurt laid on the tea, coffee and sausage rolls as always. What a day. Tight lines people!!!

Skippers Reponse: Thanks Pete glad you all had a good day, hope the weather is good for your next trip.

My third trip on yellowfin a long way out first stop and a big fat 20 pound cod caught and some pollock, moved to a different wreck and a 18 pound pollock caught and some smaller ones then off to another wreck where more pollock and cod was caught, a long day but a good one, skipper needs some singing lessons, but nice coffee and pies, made a effort to give a good day.
