had a great day out on lead us , colin supplied the squid and can also get lug at request , plenty of hot tea supplied all day and as is the way his local knowledge put us on the fish after a slow start at one mark .always willing to help or advise , i would recommend anyone to use colin , i know i will be contacting him in the near future for another go .

Yet again Colin got us to the mark which produced several nice codling and a lot of good quality whiting. Although it was a very cold damp day,the fishing and endless cups of coffee made it a worthwhile trip. Many thanks Colin - you will be seeing me again very soon!!

Got on the boat, very hard frost. Colin took us to sea to a fantastic sun rise, it lasted about 5 mins, then the clouds came along with the rain. When we got to the fishing mark the weather did not improve, but the fishing was great and between us we had several cod the best being 8 1/2 LB and loads of whiting. Out on 24th on a beautiful frosty morning which belied the wind that was to come later in the day. We had a great mornings fishing with some decent whiting and a few nice codling coming aboard as well in a lazy ebb tide. Colin put us right on the money and when the weather deteriorated knew exactly when we needed to head in. A nice comfortable boat to fish from that rides the sea well. All in all a great day. I managed to get a place on this boat at very short notice and I'm glad I did. Colin was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was kept busy helping the less experienced on the boat with baiting up, casting, knot tying and tangles etc. His patience never wained even when one angler decided to cast the whole rod and reel into the north sea. I should imagine that over 150 whiting were caught along with some flatties and one dog. A great day out and very good value for money. I would highly recommend a trip out on this boat.

A great day out

A fantastic day out on the water despite the non appearance of smooth-hounds. As ever Colin tried his hardest to find the fish which on all accounts was difficult for all the boats that day. Still had my first Roker of just over 4lb. Thanks Colin. Will be seeing you again soon!!!
