I do not want to really give a fantastic review rating otherwise the next time I try & book there may not be any chance of a place. on the boat. Nevertheless I must report I ( we ) had a fantastic day out and sincere thanks to the skipper and crew for all their support and help. 5 stars ( at least)

A awesome day Kev! you were on the ball from the time we set sale to the time we all go off the boat Malc and I can not thank you enough even if you called him martin lol lol, you changed our lines,bait,and took our fish off our hooks!! you worked so hard for us all if they had there own tackle or not, you gave us so much advice on the days fishing. we loved all the banter and food! So we will see you god willing this September!

Thanks for a brillent days fishing on Sunday even thou there wernt many big fish the whiteing kept us busy all day it was my first ever time on I boat an I loved it can't wait to be back on it next month thanks kev

From start to finish it was an excellent day! Kev didn't stop helping us from the start. He surely knows his stuff! We are looking forward to booking with Kev again for another fab day out. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day out, the craic and banter was top notch even though (or probably because) the fishing was hard going and a bit slow at times. Around 40 codling came aboard with only a dozen or so keepers but we all caught and dropped a fair few fish too. I have to say though the skipper Kev McKie was superb, he never stopped working and did everything in his powers to put us on the fish. I was particularly impressed with the way he coached the less experienced anglers on the boat, nothing was too much trouble for him. He was constantly offering advice, sorting out tangles, preparing bait and even casting in when asked. He kept us topped up with hot brews throughout the day and the curry was superb. Early start with a hot cuppa before we left the marina.kev took us to a mark over the muscle beds,and there was fish caught by all on board.no big cod ,but after some excellent homemade spouse to warm us up he took us to another spot..all caught again and being a good pro,kev was prepared to keep us out until cod came aboard.if you've never been on his craft(only my second time)and you want to know if he knows his stuff.well when we moved all the other boats followed him.a great trip with a really good gang of lads.

Cold rainy day, had ten+ hours of it.... and loved every minute, first time fishing on the Mersey and Kev made it worth the while, not many Cod but I had a 6lb and some of the other lads had a few, Kev certainly knows his trade, he is an excellent host, always busy either baiting casting, making brews or serving lunch, excellent time and I'm booking again tomorrow, thanks for a good day made all the better being on a boat of like minded individuals, great day and good banter

we have try'd the rest but kev on Brigand would take a lot of beating had a great day out with plenty of cod (even my brother got one ) so it cant be bad lol the tea and coffee kept flowing thanks to mark as kev was being kept busy with baiting up and casting.hope to see you soon kev. out on the brigand again with kev ,yet again everyone was on the cod ,great days fishing had by all loads of good banter ,we outfished every other boat out on the river ,which goes to show this skipper knows what hes doing ,the brigand crew are the best in liverpool marina ,cant wait for the next trip out "cheers kev" ;-)
