We had a great day out on the Brigand with Kev at helm. The boat was well equipped with good quality tackle, rigs and bait. Kev worked hard to make the day a fantastic experience for everyone on board. As well as skippering the boat, he was baiting up, casting out, coaching, constantly brewing up, serving up the curry, all delivered with a touch of cheeky scouse humour! I look forward to doing it again and would highly recommend Kev and the Brigand to anyone looking for a good value day out on the River Mersey with that iconic Liverpool skyline as the backdrop. Great day's fishing out with Kev on Brigand. Was hoping to catch my first cod, and Kev didn't disappoint... hauled one in on the second mark. Plenty of whiting, dabs, codling, 3 other cod, and even a rockling kept us busy all day. As Chris said, chicken curry was very welcome on a cold but clear winters day, as was the endless cups of tea and coffee! All in all, a great day with a great skipper! Cheers Kev - see you in 2104

My review - continued.....flippin ipad! Never been sea fishing before, ok so we fished in the mouth of the estuary but it was still salt water. Anyway a brilliant day. Kev, well what can I say. How hard does he work? Can't do enough for you. Starts off rushing around baiting up all the gear, casts the line out for you. Only thing left to do was drink the endless amounts of tea, eat the best chicken curry I've had in ages, have a good laugh and oh yeah catch a load of fish. Definitely be going again. Cheers Kev!

brilliant day this skipper knows his stuff he put us on the fish straight away plenty of tea all day he provides quality bait nothing is to much trouble.A personal best cod for me 8 pound 4 oz will be booking plenty of trips in the future Ian
