    Report on-board Skylark

Finally a bit of a break in the winds today and we managed to get offshore. We started today with a 8 hour trip.

Fishing was pretty much instant from the start which each drift producing.

Today we even saw our heaviest ling aboard Skylark beaten again a cracking 24lb 10oz well done Paul Lester.

His daughter Donna also beat her own PB fish a ling of 15lb 8oz

Many other ling caught well over 10lb. We also had many codling around the 2lb to 5lb area, a Ballen wrasse, pouting a haddock and mackerel

We did manage to see a minke whale passing aswel.

As we had such a successful 8hr trip we took our 3 hour trip out to the wrecks as well. It was quite a steam for a 3hr trip but looking at the amount of good white fish caught it was definitely worth the gamble.

The majority of the anglers had never fished before and it didn't take them long before they became naturals. And they now have Personal best to try and beat next time.

    Heaviest fish was a 11lb 5oz ling

Overall the customers caught cod, ling a Pollock, pouting, a herring and a mackerel
