    Report on-board High Flyer 2

    With strong tides on the new moon starting today and a blustery south west we decided to stay inshore and have a comfortable day. To be honest expected some skate which have been hanging around on the inside but we didnt get one today i blame the skipper myself! well from the start the doggies were a pain of all sizes most liking the squid as they do, rattling away all day i cant remember a period when they wernt bitting! Same with the whiting constant all day was great sport but on the other hand a pain! Big thanks to Bert for organising the trip also newbies onboard , looking forward to our next one hopefully colder with no doggies and a few cod thrown in.
