mackerel have arrived at last caught enough for bait and fished the rocks again mixed bag of fish Black bream undulated rays up to 15lb Tope , good size gurnard and two many dog fish.

Fishing the rocks off Brighton with the Plough fishing club a very good mixed bag of fish landed.
Turbot, Black bream undulated skate Thorn back skate and Bond ray also tope smooth hounds dog fish.
\Best undulated ray caught by Dave photo supplied all skate returned and one conger eel landed and returned.

Plaice fishing very good with fish up to 3ib 4 anglers caught over 50 in 8 hrs on a strong tide
a few undulated rays also landed but returned , one thornback kept

We fished Kingmere for Black bream and had a good bag of them up to 3lb one 12ib Undulated Ray which was returned to the sea plus Tope and smooth hounds pout dog fish etc.

Plaice fishing very good with plaice up to 3Lb, Low tides and worm scarce but the best fish came on sqid as we ran out of worm bait.
When tides pick up and the diggers can get black lug fishing will be very good inshore.Wrecks still are not good -

Pollock on the wrecks are in small No so we went Plaice fishing over 40 caught with a lot of keepable Tub Gurnards and 2 smooth hounds. downside sat in fog all day,

Po;llock are hard to find inshore but 25miles plus their in good numbers.

went wreck fishing for the 1st time this year,.The wrecks produced a few Pollock our best fish was !7lb and one of 14lb caught by Lynn photos to follow. February should see a better catch of Pollock

Pollock are still being caught on the wrecks plenty of whiting on the ground but few cod. hopefully January when the water is colder

Cod to 20b are still on the wrecks on neap tides, Black bream are in good numbers on the rocks plaice fishing
is also very productive if you can get past the Mackerel which have made a massive return as they where scarce
all summer
