Spring fishing getting lively with spotty dogs and some good size roker with a total of over 50 today to 5 rods to 14.5 pounds,mainly on herring chunks,best I can remember and long may it last ,few more weeks and hopefully the hounds will be here if the weather holds, dates available ,Individuals welcome and baits can be supplied. Big shoals of herring here in the estuary now ,seems to be a case of right place and time to hook yourself cod or roker in between lots of whiting ,spotty dogs,pout and dabs ,still good size fish to be caught as this picture shows, ide like to wish my old and new customers a merry Christmas and new year .

Codling fishing getting in full swing now with Thornbacks also taking the baits ,couple of nice bass hooked on the night session last night taking live whiting, pictured is young lenny bloy who showed his dad how to do it with his first codling at 5lb ,hope he's hooked for life now: midweek and evening sessions available

Lots of fish there at the moment so getting through lots of bait but the perseverance has been paying off with some nice codlings and skate being landed along with the odd bass or hound,codlings showing in sheltered waters now and will hopefully keep coming till the sprats show up ,

Fishing on the kentish flats still proving very productive with good sized smoothounds ,bass and Thornback rays coming aboard this week along with stingray also being caught.
A monster stinger in the trawls this week at around the 80lb mark !so that British record at 72lb is definately achievable

Afternoon all
Great fishing again this week with abundance of smoothounds taking the baits,good to see some new customers on board who turned out to be absolute gents ,
And good anglers too but it turned out one of the newby's to boat angling who landed the largest of the day with a fish well into double figures' long may it last tightline's baz
