Sea otter 2 recently has had been getting those double figure cod Saturday was no exception with a 15 lb cod and a 16 lbcod a day of 2 half’s wrecking and Uptiding the 15 lb cod Came wrecking and 16 lb was taken Uptiding which over the last the cod fishing has exploded stacks of cod being taken on worm and squid the rods bouncing literally all day long done great sport .
The up-tiding festival starts on the 3 rd November for 2 weeks with a £1000 for the biggist cod pause a top ten leader board and daily cash prizes as well .

The winter Uptiding is well under way some better fish now showing this lad from Preston got a nice 8 lb cod on his trip on Sea-Otter 2 it qi be al. Guns blazing now on the cod plus the the £1000 1st Uptiding festival starts on the 3 rd November finishing on the 18 th November there is a top ten cod leader board plus Daily cash prizes and a special any other species prize so come on lads give it a whirl and get amoung those cod .

The Uptiding here at Whitby has kicked off on the cod fish now coming to worm and squid baits here one of the lads from Leeds with nice couple cod falling to blacks and squid cocktails.

We have been hammering the cod of late John wood caught this lovelly fish on the lads work days out on Sea-Otter 2 just under 20 lb a cracking fish John got a 20 ling on his last trip on Sea-Otter 2 he seems to connect with the big ones ��

The lads smashed it on Sea - Otter 2 .
A lovely day at sea and some very nice fishing indeed for my good friend Steve kettle and the boys who chartered Sea-Otter 2 they got right among the cod baited shads did the damage and right under cliffs as well some real quality fish in 60-70ft of water the lads had a belter Here are the lads with a few of there fish . -

The weather has been good of late and the lads on Sea-Otter 2 have a cod bannanza yesterday it was literally non stop action the lads just smashed it today again the regular boys from Nottingham been fishing with me for over 15 years stacks of cod fillets for those guys this fish was first fish on the boat this morning on a Shad one of many for the Notts boys .

Well the summer festival is over for another year and what festival Se-Otter 2 had just missing out on the £5000 top prize by halibut a magnificent fish of 27lb but getting 2nd and 3rd heaviest Overall in the competition plus getting the biggest cod and the 1st and 2nd heaviest ling in the competition and winning the most daily prizes a great festival for the lads on Sea-Otter 2 winning over £2000 in cash in the festival and another excellent run competition run by the WCSA .

Another belter today for the lads from Nottingham a regular team for around 20 years on sea -otter 2 the 5 lads booked the boat and it was cod all day long shads again did the damage more to come.
